Ranah Edelin

Raptr

Ranah Edelin is the VP of Business Development and Marketing at Raptr.  Raptr is a Multi-Network IM client made for gaming that tracks your gameplay on the PC, Xbox Live, and PlayStation Network and lets you share that information with your friends.   Raptr is a free service and is available for download at http://raptr.com.   Raptr works with top game publishers to help promote their games through the Raptr Partners Program, which currently includes Activision, THQ, Sony Online Entertainment, and Cryptic Studios as well as free-to-play publishers NHN, Games Campus, and Gala-Net.  The company has raised over $12 million from Accel Partners and Founders Fund, the same original investors in Facebook.

Prior to joining Raptr, Ranah was a VP at EA after EA acquired SingShot, the online karaoke service he was co-founder and CEO of, in 2007.
 
Ranah was also part of founding team that built the Rhapsody music service at Listen.com / RealNetworks.  Ranah has an MBA from Stanford and a BA from Brown University.   He also received a Japanese government scholarship to study at Nagoya University and is a Japanese language speaker.
